Hi
Who is Scott? Are you talking to me Jeff? or someone named Scott? Richard Daly was a democrat the two party sysdumb provides us the people with very little choice, they need each other and play us off each other so we get divided almost down the middle. Once we are divided in half they then divide us out several more times. Religion, rednecks, racists, constitutionalists etc on and on. We as humans need the same things, until we wake up and look at the monsters who own the system it will only get worse.

No Scott you are the one who is lying. Just about every violent aciton in America that has been happening in the last few years have been done by the right wingers. Look at the head of security for Ron Paul, who knock down a peaceful protestor and then put his foot down on her head and the police did not arrest the guy. Furthermore, if you look at history (which you have not), the right wingers have committed almost all the violence under the color of authority, in other words, they were police officers (many of them corrupt criminal thugs). Violent at anti-war demonstrations well that happens because the police are the ones who cause it. Look at Chicago in 1968. No discipline by police at all even though many of them should have learn it when they were in the military. The vast, vast majority of Tea Party supporters are level-headed, patriotic Americans who have no amount of racism in their genes. If these Tea Baggers are level-headed, they should have realized that their organizations have been taken over the the Kohl Brothers and other rich people plus they should have been attacking the Republican Party and Corporate America. I don't see or hear these guys at Wall Street helping the protestors. And those tea baggers are racists.By the way, Scott, some Marines are in New York City where they are going to protect the protestors against the NYPD. It is about time that the military support and protect the people instead of protecting rich people and corporations like they have been doing since this country was founded.

Thanks, it took me a while, but I seatrtd to learn about all the secret dealings of the fed, like bailing out European banks and bailing out non-bank firms in the U.S. I prefer solutions that are simple to implement, and prevent shenanigans, hence a gold standard, so the Fed can't manipulate the currency to do its dirty work.

i love this post so much. i still haven't ferigud out how to deal with the question. like you say, if you turn it around the question becomes offensive. how about, because i'd like to continue my education and develop my career as a professional human being who has great earning potential and thus greater capacity to contribute to my community.'there's that one, and then the fact that it's simply a pretty undesirable gig.i just don't think it needs to be an everyday topic of discussion.
